AVOID THE LAST-MINUTE SURPRISE
Use the manufacturer’s cutout template to check the hole in the countertop. Then compare bowl depth, cabinet clearance and faucet-hole layout.
A deeper bowl puts its drain outlet lower in the cabinet, and a garbage disposal needs more space beneath it. Leave room for the P-trap, the curved pipe that holds water to block sewer smells. If the new outlet sits too low to connect to the wall drain with the needed fall, choose a different sink or disposal, or plan to move the wall connection.
Shutoff valves are the small valves that stop water to the faucet. We check access to those valves, the water hoses, faucet connections and drain. Have the bowl securely mounted and the cabinet cleared before the plumbing appointment. Reconnected supply and drain joints need a leak check before the cabinet is loaded up again.

No. We do not offer undermount installation or remounting. Contact a sink installer or countertop specialist for the bowl, mounting support and countertop work. We can discuss the faucet, drain, shutoff valves and plumbing connections separately.
A sound faucet can stay if its mounting fits the new sink and its spout reaches comfortably into the bowl. Send both model numbers so we can check the fit.
Sometimes. Bowl depth and the disposal’s outlet height both affect the route to the drain in the wall. Check the bowl depth, disposal dimensions and wall-drain height together before ordering.
Match the drain to the new sink’s opening and overflow design. The overflow is the extra opening near the top of some basins that carries water into the drain. Sinks with and without an overflow can need different drain assemblies; check the sink’s instructions.
Stop using a sink that is separating from its mounting. Have the mounting and support repaired before reconnecting and using the sink.
Send a photo of the whole sink and countertop, a clear photo inside the cabinet, and the new sink, faucet and disposal model numbers if you have them. Tell us whether the bowl is staying, being replaced or already mounted. That helps us identify the plumbing work and confirm whether we can help.
