A valve won’t shut off
The small valve near a sink or toilet is a shutoff, sometimes called an angle stop. It should let that fixture’s water supply be stopped for service. A stuck handle or a valve that leaks needs assessment.

Supply connectors bring water to the fixture under pressure, while the drain carries it away during use. Tell us whether the drip is constant or starts when the fixture runs so we can follow the right path.

A worn seal or internal part may be repairable. The fixture’s condition and available replacement parts help determine whether a repair or replacement makes sense.

Check where your outdoor faucet, or hose bib, leaks: at the spout, around the handle, at the hose connection or inside the wall. Tell us whether it happens while the water is running or after you shut it off.

A photo of the whole fixture and a closer photo of the problem help us prepare. Include a brand or model if it is visible. You don’t need to take anything apart.
Agree on the work and price
We inspect the problem and explain the repair options before starting. A worn shutoff, damaged connection or difficult access can add work, and we include those findings in the price. Ask about the diagnostic fee when scheduling.
Handle the repair
A replaceable seal, connector or valve may solve the problem. Damage to the fixture or surrounding pipe may change the options. If more work is needed than expected, it should be explained and approved first.
Use it and check it
A water-supply repair needs a leak check with water restored. A drain repair needs a check while the fixture drains. We explain what was repaired and any remaining issue that needs follow-up.

Is my repair too small to call a plumber?
We handle dripping connections, worn shutoffs and running toilets. Tell us what needs attention, and we’ll explain the visit and any diagnostic fee before you schedule.
Can I put several repairs on the same appointment?
Tell us the whole list when arranging the visit. We can discuss the time and parts likely to be needed. Access and parts availability determine the work that can be completed in each visit.
Do I have to choose the exact service before booking?
You can start with general plumbing repair when you have several small issues or do not know the part name. Describe the symptoms. A specific water-heater, drain, leak or bathroom problem has its own detailed guide linked above.
Can you tell me the exact price from a photo?
Photos help us identify the fixture and plan parts for the visit. We then check its connections and access in person and explain the repair and price before you approve the work.
Should I buy replacement parts first?
Send the fixture model or a label photo before buying parts so we can find the correct cartridge, seal or connector. If you already have a replacement fixture, have its mounting kit and instructions ready too.
Can you work through an inspection report?
Share the plumbing items and their photos when arranging the visit. We can assess the reported conditions and discuss the repairs. We use the inspection note to guide the on-site checks.
What should I have ready for the visit?
Your list, any useful photos and clear access to the affected fixture. Move belongings from the work area if it is safe. Leave stuck valves, concealed piping and wet electrical areas alone; tell us about them.
Is a small leak worth fixing now?
A small leak can waste water and damage the cabinet, floor or surrounding material. Report where it is and when it occurs. If water is escaping uncontrollably or reaching electrical equipment, treat that as urgent rather than waiting to complete a repair list.

A quote for plumbing repair should make the scope clear. Check who handles access and patching, whether any further diagnosis costs extra, and what happens if opening things up reveals more damage.
