In South Salt Lake, UT, we were called out to this Salt Lake City condominium to install an automatic shutoff valve and assist in changing the faucet and adding a reverse osmosis. In this particular one it was in a very precarious place, you know where a water leak would cause lots of damage.
We went ahead and installed the Honeywell auto shutoff valve with the leak detector string above the water heater, with one sensor in the water heater pan. We are really liking that valve because it only shuts off when the strings encounter water and there are Bluetooth sensors that can be placed throughout the house.
We’re also able to upgrade the faucet to give the space a much more modern look and also the reverse osmosis as well. The customer-supplied kitchen faucet went in at the accessible sink after we removed the old one, connected the supplies, and checked hot and cold. Turned out to be a great little upgrade for this condo.
