Moen shower handle fixed same day in Salt Lake City

We were called out to this past customer’s house in Salt Lake City because the shower handle had unexpectedly broken off on their Moen Posey temp shower. That occasionally happens from time to time—there’s just a little brass piece in there that gets worn out over time. This was one of those occasions, and we were glad they called us.

When we got on site we shut the water down, pulled the trim, and got into the valve. The broken brass stem was the problem, so we went ahead with a single-handle shower cartridge replacement. We carry these parts stocked in our van always, so there was no trip back to the supply house and no hours of delay hanging over the job.

We installed a standard replacement cartridge, put everything back together, restored the water, and checked for leaks plus proper hot and cold control. They were back in order within a couple hours of them calling. That stocked-van prep is what kept the whole thing simple and finished the same day.
