Salt Lake City Laundry Sink

This project was actually a continuation of a drain cleaning job we completed for a Salt Lake City homeowner. Their laundry drain kept overflowing and backing up into the room, and after running the camera and opening the wall it became clear that the only real fix would require cutting into the wall and jackhammering the floor. Since we had to open everything up anyway, the homeowner asked if we could help turn the situation into something more useful for the home.We talked through a few ideas and decided that adding a full laundry sink would be the best way to get long-term value out of the repair. Once the wall was opened, we reworked the drain lines, added new water lines, and built in a clean layout that would support a large basin and a high quality faucet. The owner wanted something durable and functional, so we installed a deep utility-style sink big enough to wash dogs, clean tools, rinse laundry, or handle any heavy-duty household task. The faucet upgrade made the project even more practical. We installed a pull-out sprayer that gives the homeowner flexibility and reach while keeping the space clean and easy to use. Even though we started with a frustrating drain issue, the final result was a major improvement to the home. The new laundry sink functions perfectly, drains correctly, and gives the homeowner a setup that will last for years. It is a good example of what we try to do for every customer in Salt Lake City. When a problem forces your hand and you already have a wall open or a floor cut, there is usually an opportunity to add something truly helpful without wasting time or money. This job started with an overflowing drain but ended with a custom laundry sink installation that the homeowner now uses every week.
