A homeowner in the Liberty Wells neighborhood of Salt Lake City reached out shortly after purchasing their home. Everything was going well until they realized the hot water situation wasn’t great. The existing water heater was an older 40-gallon unit, and with normal daily use they were running out of hot water much quicker than expected.

After going over the setup, it was clear they needed a better long-term solution. I removed the old unit and installed a brand-new Bradford White water heater, properly sized for the home and installed 100% to code. Once everything was up and running, the hot water issue was completely resolved.

While on site, they also asked about water quality. I tested the water and found it was extremely hard, which explained some of the buildup they had already started to notice around the house. We talked through a few options, and they ultimately decided on a whole-home water purification system that combines filtration and softening in one unit. That upgrade now provides clean, clear water to every fixture in the home and helps protect the new water heater long-term.

By the end of the job, they had reliable hot water, improved water quality, and a system they won’t have to think about for years.
